Introductory Email

Good Day

That said, I have tentatively scheduled the first meeting for Thursday, June 25th, at 7pm. We'll meet at the Hacks Point community building, at 91 Parkside Dr, Hacks Point, aka Earleville. For those of you who've never been to the community building, I should point out that it has no running water or toilet facilities (please plan accordingly!). On the other hand, the price is right. I've done some quick checking and this date doesn't seem to conflict with any posted public meetings. I know it's rather far away, but I'm hoping we can maximize attendence by getting on people's calendars before they start to fill up.

Who am I ? My name is Peter Kline, and I'm a full time river front resident of the Hacks Point village. My wife Jennifer and I are both business professionals, licensed captains, and active boaters who believe we live in the most beautiful place on earth. I've got the time and the interest to pick up the Bohemia River water quality ball and to run with it.

Over the next 4 weeks, I will be reaching out telephonically and in person to as many people as possible in the government, river, and environmental communities to stimulate their interest and request their input.

One area where I could use some help is the notification of residents in the various communities. While I'll post notices at local marinas and stores, and notify various publications, there's probably no substitute for sticking a piece of paper in each resident's screen door (mailboxes aren't so great if its windy). If you can help me with this, please reach out to me at this email address, or my home phone number. Please call before 8pm.

You have my commitment that we will not reveal email addresses or litter your inbox with junk. An agenda will be forthcoming, and of course any change of time or place (which I will seek to avoid) will also be announced.
